An exhibition about the heritage of Balsall Heath and Highgate.
Taking place 6th-8th September, 11am-4:30pm at the Old Print Works, Balsall Heath. Featuring displays about the old Clifton Rd School which was recently on fire; Percy Shurmer; Balsall Heath in the 70s to 90s; and the Lost Children touring exhibition, which tells the story of the Middlemore Homes in Highgate who emigrated over 5000 children to Canada and Australia in the years 1873 to 1954.
On Saturday 7th September at 2pm there will be a launch of the book “Balsall Heath, A History”, also at the Old Print Works.
