Women’s Voices through Art is an Art Works project about civic activism, exploring women’s voices and rights through the medium of art.
Taking place weekly at Ashiana Community Project (ACP) in Sparkbrook, the sessions are led by local Artist Sajida Asif and include a menu of creative activities to allow participants to try out different artforms.
The project is part of Art Works’ ongoing work to develop the creativity and confidence of people who may not have previously accessed creative workshops through our participatory and responsive approach.
The project has been funded through Birmingham City Council’s ‘Cultural Diversity’ funding scheme.
